Google Real Time Search Launches

By Carl Kmetz On December 10, 2009 Under Marketing News, Twitter Marketing

Google Real-Time Search Is Finally Here!

Google announced on December 7, 2009 that they will start integrating Real-Time Search results into their index. What this means is, now Google will include breaking news with real-time updates from news, blogs and social networks as it happens on the web.

For instance, posts from Facebook , Yahoo Answers, Blog and News Articles and Live Twitter Tweets, will now stream in on the actual result pages for a search query.

In October I talked about Real-Time marketing using Twitter and the purpose of this post was to introduce you to Real Time search marketing before anyone else grabbed a hold this marketing technique.

The Twitter Method review was to show you what Tom Deeter discovered using Twitter Search and the piece of software they developed called “R.A.I.S.E ” that automates the process.

So what does this have to do with Google’s Real Time Search? Think about it this way, If you had automated system to answer someones question on Twitter then rest assure they are asking the same question in Google and in greater numbers.

I have to admit and as usual, Jack Humphrey and Tom Deeter where way ahead of all of us and already had a system and software in place.

Below is a video Google put out explaining “what is Real Time Search” and how they will implement it in their search results. One thing I found interesting when I first saw this video was all the results from Twitter.

Did you notice the very first example using the keyword phrase ‘ Twilight Reviw”?
Think about this when you write your next blog post and then Twitter it.

To Your Success,

Carl Kmetz
